Matsui Matte Black Aichei Mountain Professional Shears are a lighter weight beautiful, elegant shears are made from high quality cobalt infused steel which is great for slide cutting as it stays sharp for longer.
The mountain blade really helps push the hair onto the fine razor sharp cutting edge, while also adding rigidity to the shear which is great for point cutting, feathering, and texturizing.
The offset handle in both shears brings the thumb into a natural position for cutting and the solid finger rest can never come loose and get lost. The tension system creates an extra smooth feel to the shears.

I recently purchased the 2025 Matsui Aichei Mountain Rose Gold Triple Set, and I couldn’t be happier. From the moment I held them, I felt so special — they sit perfectly in my hand with a beautiful balance and precision. As a hairdresser with over 35 years’ experience, I’ve used many scissors over the years, and these are truly something else.
I bought my first Matsui scissors over five years ago, and they are still stunning and sharp — a testament to their quality. But it was time for an upgrade, and this new set has exceeded all expectations. The rose gold finish is elegant and professional, and the craftsmanship is outstanding.

I absolutely LOVE my aichei mountain shears!! They cut hair like butter and are very comfortable, even without adding in the finger ring inserts. The only thing better would be if Scissor Tech had the 7” ones in stock. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for them though and will purchase ASAP! Thank you Scissor Tech for the quality shears at a great price!! :)
