The mountain blade really helps push the hair onto the fine razor sharp cutting edge, while also adding rigidity to the shear which is great for point cutting, feathering, and texturizing.
The offset handle in both shear brings the thumb into a natural position for cutting and the solid finger rest can never come loose and get lost. The tension system creates an extra smooth feel to the shear.
