Scissor Tech U.S. proudly owns the Matsui Scissors Brand.
Scissor Tech offers a lifetime warranty for the purchase of any pair of scissors (Matsui or other brands) bought on our website.
Our brand, Matsui, is proud to have 20 years of manufacturing, design & research of quality hairdressing scissors. Matsui uses high-quality parts and all our scissors are guaranteed to be free of faulty workmanship for life. Matsui Scissors are handmade using the high-quality Japanese Stainless Steel, our scissors are designed to last. The coloring is also cover under manufacturing warranty.
All other accessories, including pouches, cases, oil are covered by 30-day warranty.
Lifetime Warranty Exclusion
Warranty for scissors bought on our store does not include re-sharpening and damage caused by dropping scissors or misuse as detailed below. Please be aware that damaging your scissor blade edges or the coloring by chipping, dropping, over tightening or having tension too loose or incorrect sharpening, maintenance, cleaning or care of your scissors with chemicals or by not following our care guidelines sharpening is not covered by warranty.
All faulty scissors under Lifetime Warranty have to be returned to Scissor Tech US by DHL express for inspection. If the manufacturer is found to be at fault, the scissors will be replaced at no charge to our customers.
At Scissor Tech we understand that it can be hard to choose the correct pair of scissors online. That's why we offer a 7-day exchange or refund program.
How it Works
All we ask is that you get in touch with us as soon as you realize that you need to make an exchange or ask for a refund. We count the 7 days from when your parcel is marked as delivered to you via DHL tracking on their website.
The scissors then need to be posted back to us via DHL express. In as new condition, with no damage or have been dropped etc. in the original packaging, this includes in the case with scissors properly secured, with scissor key, cleaning cloth and oil pen inside the case with warranty card and any promotional cards as well.
We will then assess the scissors and if there are no damages or problems either exchange them for the ones you have selected or issue you a refund. Minus a $10 shipping/restocking fee. It takes approximately 3-5 days for your refund to come through from the transaction from which you paid for the scissors.
Exchanging your scissors
We are more than happy to exchange your scissors and offer our guidance in helping you select another pair of scissors. We will exchange your scissors once we receive the pair that you have sent back to us, via DHL express and in the as new condition in the original packaging.
Before sending back your scissors, make sure to get in touch with us through our contact page so we can look out for your package.
Warranty returns or product exchanges must be sent via a tracked postage service with purchase receipt & tracking number to the below address along with notifying us via email or phone that your scissors are on the way. With out emailing and contacting us a exchange or refund cannot be processed.
