The mountain blade really helps push the hair onto the fine razor sharp cutting edge, while also adding rigidity to the scissors which is great for point cutting, feathering, and texturising.
The offset handle in both shears brings the thumb into a natural position for cutting and the solid finger rest can never come loose and get lost. The tension system creates an extra smooth feel to the shears.

This is the third purchase I have made with scissors tech, all the same scissors in different sizes and colours. The silver 5.5 inch are an absolute must for daily cutting. Be it blunt cutting or point cutting, these scissors slice the hair like nothing, extremely sharp from the box and from experience, will start sharp for a very long time. Although these 6' scissors are a tad bit bigger than my other ones they are much lighter and extremely sharp, Comes with a great carrying case and a feather razor and blades for completely free would recommend if you are a barber and cut 10-12 clients daily.
